(b. 1997, Medellín, Colombia) Jimmy Paez is a Colombian-born artist and performer based in Barcelona. Grounded in an embodied approach. His practice moves across installation, relational and durational performance, exploring questions of belonging, identity, and impermanence. He holds a bachelor degree in Dramatic Arts from Universidad de Antioquia. His work has been presented and developed in collaboration with Fundació Caixa Castelló, Territori Performance Biennale, and the Contemporary Dance Company Grupo Experimental from Brazil.

He has developed his practice through workshops and residencies across Germany, the UK, Ireland, France, and Spain. Alongside his artistic practice, he works across cultural projects, exhibition, production, and public engagement, contributing to collaborative projects that connect personal experience, artistic research, education, and audience development.
